Colby has never once shared this aspect of his previous life on social media and was pushed to make this video today with the hope that someone on the other end of it will resonate with it. He has been very open and honest about addiction and sobriety on his platform, but he never let himself talk about the mental health struggles he used to have because it is a very touchy subject for him. He took that video that is 38 minutes long saying goodbye to his family and mom after relapsing following his fourth rehab. The next morning he woke up in the hospital and truly does not remember how he got there. He was consumed by so much darkness at the time, truly it was the worst part of his life. Even before he came to know Him, He was moving in his life. He gets very emotional when he thinks about what Jesus has set him free from. He talks to friends all the time, he talks to family all the time, and he tries his absolute best to help other people draw closer to Him. Part of him feels guilty for not truly utilizing his platform to talk about Him every chance he gets. If someone took the time to read this, he greatly appreciates it.
