This was hard to make, but Kendall made a commitment to be vulnerable and real when she started this account. It is hard for her to look back and see how broken she was. It can be seen in her eyes, her face, and her body language. It is something she would not wish on anyone. She was drinking all the time, missing soccer, feeling depressed, and confused about the direction of her life. She was isolated and suffering in darkness. It reached a point where her body was physically shutting down, and after drinking too much one night, she ended up in the hospital. She was completely lost. She shares this because she wants people to know the true power of Jesus. He saved her and changed her for the better. She says she will never go back. She knows she will never be perfect, but God does not expect her to be. He loves anyway. She wishes she could give her younger self a hug and tell her she will make it and everything will be okay. She thanks God every day for bringing her out of that season. Sometimes life is heavy, but no one is alone. She reminds others that they are loved, Jesus loves them, and they are here for a reason 💙 – addiction, depression, salvation
